Immersive Reality are thrilled to announce that we have received funding from XR Stories and Sheffield Hallam University, to take part in the XR Stories internship programme. The initiative supports research and development for companies working in cutting-edge digital technologies in the Yorkshire and Humber region, with an aim to champion a new future for storytelling.
For the project, we are creating a virtual art gallery aimed at primary school students, which will encourage creativity by immersing them in the artwork. Simply touching a piece of art on the virtual gallery walls will uncover details about how the artwork was created, the inspiration behind the pieces, and information about the artists themselves.
This project aims to boost creative thinking, as well as encouraging group participation, as pupils will be inspired to create their own pieces of artwork after experiencing the virtual gallery in our fantastic Immersive Room.
